Pro and cons of dating an older man
You do not need to worry of finding a partner who still is in that phase of finding the right career path or “finding himself”. He has a career, a house, a car, and is financially secure. Dating a man who has gone through many things has its positive sides: he already knows what exactly wants in life, and in your relationship.
He knows what he likes, what he does not, knows how to deal with important issues, and is confident, and decisive when communicating his feelings.
While everything about such relationships is not good, they are not entirely bad either.
If his children aren't much younger than you are, they may instantly resent you or feel threatened somehow, an issue that must be nipped in the bud and discussed by their father if you want the relationship to have a fighting chance.
Or, even if they are small, are you ready to be a part of a ready-made family and possibly become someone's stepmother?
Whether they themselves are career women with no concerns about money or not, it still helps to know that the men they date can take care of themselves in that department.
The Downside In some case, an older man may be more set in his ways and therefore, less reluctant to adapt to a new lifestyle.
